Last Saturday, my boy brought me to London's Apollo theatre to watch Wicked the musical. Since it was my very first musical, i think i enjoyed it very much. It was all very exciting and i DID not sleep throughout the 3 hours! What I feel sets plays apart from movies is that so much effort is actually put into a play. Everything is done spontaneously; the music, the singing and the acting; everything had to be just right. The costumes were awesome, the songs and dances were very well choreographed and somehow it just makes everything feel magical. It made me feel as if i too wanted to be part of the musical! Oh well, im very impressed with how the crew can actually memorise the whole 3 hour script; that is pretty amazing!

We spent the whole day in London and i had a lot a lot of fun; i havent had this much fun in a long long time. Thankkiew for everything darling! I finally got my dose of the traditional italian ice cream with a cadbury flake on top! yummy! love love love the soft ice cream and yes darling its very different from the tubs of ice cream we get a sainsbury. *smile* Also had japanese food at Kulu Kulu a jap restaurant at Picadilly circus; the food was quite good! Of course you can't compare it with the japanese restaurants in KL but when one is acutely deprived of japanese food it makes all the jap food you eat here taste good! Shopping at selfridges was fun too! I bought some makeup from NARS after the MA sweared countlessly that the eyeshadow makes my eyes pop and the lipgloss makes me look a million dollars. I am indeed a very happy girl! A lil retail therapy never hurts hehe.

When I asked my brother what is sexy he immediately answered "angelina jolie or scarlett johansson!!". Forget that I actually asked what not who is sexy *haha*. Well, most people have the misconception that sexy means skinny, washboard abs and the likes. Personally i feel that sexy is a lot about feeling comfy in your own skin. I guess we girls do feel the pressure to look good but if we try to hard its not pretty anymore. Hmm that also brings me to another thing that most girls love : makeup! Yes makeup! Tell me which girl doesnt like it (okay maybe there are but only a handful). Some girls find it a hassle but some find that they simply cannot leave the doorstep without slathering on an inch thick of makeup. Do i fall into that category? Oh well, i started experimenting with makeup when i was in secondary school but back then i didn't have much pocket money to spend on expensive makeup so red earth became a very popular brand in my makeup bag! Back then red earth makeup was really cheap especially when they have their sales; only 10-12 ringgit for an eyeshadow and 20 ringgit for a loose powder. I had all the colours you can imagine ; blue, purple, pink, brown, silver and green eyeshadows. Gosh thinking back i experimented so much with makeup; some of them looked pretty bad and scary haha.

Oh well i guess i grew out of that phase and now i prefer to go light and simple. I think some mascara, a touch of blush and a bit of lipgloss does wonders! Many of my friends (guys of course) including my boy shared their views on girls with makeup and all of them prefer girls au naturel . So girls do go light! Too much of eyeshadow may even scare the guys sometimes *eek* so i try to steer away from eyeshadows except when i have to use them for a night out *hehe*. So anyway i went to my favourite lancome counter and tried on their mascara. I was sold! hehe anyway I , like almost every other girl is in constant search for the HG mascara.

Lancome's new Virtuose mascara is pretty amazing! I got it in brown and it looks really pretty and much more natural compared to black mascara*i think*. Camiellia also suggested me to get the mascara base as well as it protects the lashes from drying out. Too much mascara actually dries out your lashes causing them to break and drop *eek*. Thats a girl's worst nightmare!

All in all im pretty happy with my purchase ^_^. I've tried a lot of others and these 2 are my favourites so far! Girls do try this out! Hope this helped! =)
