A lot of people have been asking me to blog a post about how and what makeup products i use so here goes.

Start with clean skin, a good moisturiser and sunblock. For moisturiser i recommend

or in this case i use a makeup base with spf protection. You don't have to use both; just choose one. The makeup base is lightly tinted and so gives you a more flawless look. For daily use i prefer the normal sunblock and the makeup base is only for days when i feel i need a heavier coverage.

I skip powder and proceed straight for blush. I love blush because i feel it makes me less pale and gives a very radiant look and it makes me look fresh. I use a very light hand because a blush is supposed to mimic your natural glow and not make you look clownish. For blush, i like NARS.

As for mascara, i use Lancome and YSL.

Here, i have Lancome's mascara base and Virtuose in brown. The gold tube is YSL volumising mascara in brown. I prefer brown mascara over black as it gives a more natural effect. If you would rather get a drugstore mascara instead of the high end brands, i recommend:

Canmake mascara which you can easily get at Watsons chemist.

I finish off with some lipbalm. In this case, its Nivea strawberry lipbalm

Sometimes i also apply some lipgloss. I use:

I interchange between these lipglosses. NARS, anna sui and stila lip glaze.

That pretty much sums up my daily staples.

Feels so good to be home, the comfort of my bed and im not even complaining that its too hot here im just so happy to escape the cold; as much as i know how much i'll be missing out in the post xmas boxing day sales i dont like the idea of freezing my butt off. Still, blowing up 700plus bucks on my second day home is saying something. A bag, a dress and some makeup. Im a very happy girl indeed. The boy came back a couple of days later and i had the best japanese food experience at Rakuzen. Love love the cosy quiet ambience, good company and good food. Off we went to MV's the gardens where everything was at cut throat prices but still not quite as good as Pavilion but nice and quiet to spend quality time together. Was elated to finally get my ring after such a long wait. Its my first ring from him and it means a lot to me. Thank you da-da. =)

i have been looking all over for these babies like a mad woman because their so ridiculously pretty and difficult to find. see how pretty they are. =)

I love my eggs; be it fried, boiled, scrambled, poached or tarts i love my eggs. i went through a period of my life where i had eggs everyday for few weeks in a row and i still didnt get bored of it you know? my brother started calling me weird and that i will turn into an egg very soon.(im starting to look like an egg too)

the boy has been spoiling me with egg tarts. i always get to eat 2 out of the 3 egg tarts; im so mean. well he knows its my fav thankkiew da-da. =)

im already making a list of all the food i want to eat when im back in malaysia. japanese food, green tea ice cream with red beans, asam laksa, pie tee, wan tan meen, or chien, carrot cake, dim sum, yong tau fu, bak chor mee, chicken rice, ice kacang, cendol, yau char kwai and the list goes on and on and on. it'll be a miracle if i can even maintain my weight now!

so many friends to meet too. june, sue yee, julian, hong yin, sydney, the boy and his friends maybe.

so many things to do so little time. on a happier note the boy is coming this weekend! and i will be getting my hands on something.*rubs hands with glee*

Jees..first my xmas card to the boy got lost in the post..friggin royalmail and i used first class large mail too because my card was so huge. its not about the money that i have spent, i can buy another again but its the effort and sentimental value that came with the card. at first i thought it might be because xmas is nearing and everyone is sending cards,parcels all over uk and so i kept my hopes high but mummy already got her card so my boy's card is definitely lost. jeeees i was so dissappointed but the boy promised me another pooh soft toy when he comes to Reading. haha thankkiew darling i already know which one i want to get. happy happy again. hes coming again to visit me before we leave to the xmas hols and we're off to london's portobello market for some hippy hippy shopping and probably to carnaby street for some more shopping and hopefully duck rice or peking duck hehe good food good company me likes.

This term is seriously driving me crazy with so many hours of class and i know i shouldnt be complaining cos the boy has even more than me but we had so little last year compared to this year its not even funny and its draining me like mad. i really need a break. retail retail therapy. went girly shopping with jyy huey the other day and she bought clothes and pretty shoes and shampoo and i bought food and stuff to bring back to kl. mummy's xmas nuts and hotel chocolat, bro's choc and biscuits, cousin's marks spencers mini bites and lush dream cream and auntie's makeup and probably some gifts for friends. also bought a nice bubble hem parka from primark. how am i going to bring back millie's cookies and krispy kremes hmmm.

Cant wait to see everyone back home. dec 14..soon soon.
