Challenges.
They come to you in every possible way. We face them almost everyday from friends and family to work and depending on how much of a perfectionist you are, I find it a challenge to write the name and address on an envelope perfectly. Seriously, who would ever notice it anyway; most of the time it ends up with the forgotten stacks of papers or the bin.
That probably explains how much of an impact it has upon me. I find that it has become a habit for me to stress constantly even over the teeniest nitty-gritty detail of things around me, it has probably become part of me that i can't or wouldn't want to change. Who would actually notice a tiny scratch on my satin dress? or even the bump on my left cheek.
Life's not about being perfect but I'm constantly in the position to perfect everything surrounding me. All i can do except for perfecting the way people see you, for that is beyond my ability. In the past, i am constantly trying to fit in with the crowd but now it doesn't affect me anymore because i really want to be myself.
Maybe that's why i love it when the going gets tough, it really makes me want to stand up and prove that you really don't need to be in a group to look good, or do drugs(bad scene) or pretend to be someone you are not. Now i know i've gone too far.

I love fridays because its the day i go to town to stock up my fridge and also my dailies such as my fav lush face mask, shampoo, stuff i dont need such as the hair glaze by john frieda which i just had to get. After all, i don't have much to lose except for 5 quid and shiny hair teehee. Vanity. Also, i popped in to my fav Chanel counter and tried on the Irreelle blush #25 In Love i was raving about in my previous post.

Note that the pictures here are non-airbrushed with no foundation, no powder, just sunblock so please please excuse the small bump on my left cheek. I have the occassional breakout here and there sometimes too. =( Anyway i fell in love with the color instantly and its a definite must have! Guess i'll have to wait until i go back to KL before i get it. =)

Lots of work, lots to do, lots to see, but so little time. A little retail therapy is a must must. By the way, to all the nice gentleman out there Valentine's day is just around the corner teehee. Be sure to surprise your better half, other half, fiance, partner, wife or girlfriend (whichever way you like to address the other). Diamonds are a girl's best friend, as well as flowers, dresses, makeup and sexy lingerie..your pick, you get the drill hehe. Speaking of which, chinese new year is just around the corner. Heres to cheap fuel, on time flights, excellent fashion finds, first class upgrades, more stylish finds...

Hola hola..despite being so bogged down with work and assignments i decided to take some time off to keep you all updated with myself. Although the first week was quite miserable i must say that things have taken a better turn since the boy came to visit me and i had the most fun in weeks. First, it was Camden Market where everything was all so gothic and hippy and the perfect place for me to look for my Gobbolino hat. Unfortunately, no pirate hats were found but nutella crepes was what we had from the trip although i was very close to getting my first Rolling Stones tee shirt. Then it was off to Leicester square chinatown where we had malaysian food and my favourite cendol teehee. Im never ending with my obsession over cendol and red beans especially. All we ever do is eat eat eat and thats what we do best.

My long awaited gobbolino hat which i finally ordered online. Yay!

My current obsession with dresses, shiny dresses actually. Anything that shimmers or satin makes me happy. The dresses are really from ted baker and grey vibes.

I am in love.

My body lotion and face scrub from LUSH. Also another face mask which is currently in the fridge teehee.

Nothing like a good magazine to keep me updated with the latest fashion. Its a girl thing.

Gotta love the bag.

My fav mini hehee. I love florals to much to the point that i wear them on me.

The amount of work piling up, assignment deadlines and books to read its not even funny. And yes thats my fav grape gummy.

After 3 weeks back in kl im finally back in uk. Somehow I don't understand why this time I really felt it, besides the first time I came here. Maybe there was no longer the comforting feeling i get being at home. Maybe its the thought that I have so much to study for the next 6 months without seeing my family. Today my mood sucked the most and it hasn't been like that for quite some time. Miserable and I suspect the weather has something to do with it for my mood changes with the weather; I am a weather girl after all. I hate it when I have to say goodbyes, I hate it when I have to hide it all to myself and most of all I hate to pretend to be strong when I'm not. There are times when I feel that I can handle everything myself but today is the day i broke down and told myself I couldn't. This is what happens when things get tough. I need you with me now...

Happy 2008. Gosh time passed by so quickly, a year passed by just like that with not very much achieved though. My new year resolutions:

1) I know im not obesed but i would like to lose some weight. :)
2) Graduate this june with flying colours and get my place for the bvc course.
3) Spend less on shopping..what a joke

New year's eve was smashing. We had a very nice and quiet dinner at One World hotel's japanese restaurant. Love japanese food; we had softshell crab sushi rolls, tempura, rice and chicken and not forgetting my all time favourite green tea ice-cream. Dinner was very satisfying because i didnt sneak into the fridge at midnight for a snack. Then we watched the new will smith movie which was freaking gross and a lil intimidating and hence i had my eyes closed 1/2 the time. Before we knew it, it was midnight and sparks were flying into the starless sky which sounded like a million gunshots. T'was a fantastic new year, our first new year together and hopefully many more to come. ♥
