Dad went to the Lancome sale at a hotel in KL yesterday and because he knows how much I love Lancome, he snagged some girly items for me. Thank you da da :). Among the items he got for me were:
Cils Design Pro mascara. I love this mascara. Personally I have not purchased it before but I have tested it countless times at the counter.
Limited edition Destiny cube e/s and lip color palette. I really love this cube since it came out. I comes in 2 color options but they only had this one left although i wanted the other one which had a darker eyeshadow. Nontheless I'm still really happy with this! Look how cute it is. ;)
Eyecolor quad #321. This is another holiday palette and is a limited edition. I really love the colors of this palette.
Hes definitely one in a million dads who will wrestle with the 'aunties' at the sale just to grab some items for me. ;) Love you daddy <3 and happy bday!

Project 10 pan failed
Okay so I did MENTION something about starting project 10 pan; ie finishing 10 of my products before purchasing more. Sadly, I just finished my exams and in serious need of retail therapy. Moreover, I made a trip to Cardiff and to my favourite MAC store at Capitol and I was perusing the aisles I gave in and bought some more :).
First of all, the Cafe de Paris and French Cafe CD which I recently acquired and have been listening to it obsessively.
Perfect topping MSF. I already have the other MSF from the Sugarsweet collection which is 'Refined'. But I swatched it on my arm and thought 'okay this is nice' and so I bought it. :)
Aquavert e/s (on the right). I only purchase the green one (on the right) and I must say it looks lovely. It was also the last one in the store so I consider that an achievement. :)
Peppermint Patti mint green nail lacquer.I really love this nail color and I am glad that I did not purchase the 'something about pink' nail polish from the Hello Kitty collection. This baby was also the last one in store so I am extremely pleased about it. :) Although apparently there is a dupe for this polish by Barry M, I went into 5-6 superdrugs/boots and I could not find it. So I gave in and bought the lovely Peppermint Patti. I also snagged the last one in store so I was as pleased as punch.
The best purchase of all in my opinion were the girls aloud lashes. I bought the Nicola Robert's (my favourite at least on first impression) and Cheryl Cole's lashes. I am not a massive fan of their music but I must say that I love their image everything from their immaculate hair and clothing. Eylure was wise to collaborate with these girls to manufacture these lashes. They retail for about slightly less than 5 pounds at Superdrug/Asos.com.
I also bought some drugstore makeup but I don't think its necessary to mention it here. :)
Exams have just finished this week and classes are starting again next week. :( And I have yet to prepare for it! Have a great weekend everyone!

I am inspired by one of the beauty bloggers to begin project 10 pan.
What this basically means by that is that I am banned from purchasing anymore makeup until I successfully use up/hit pan on 10 items. The items can range from foundations, powders, lipsticks, glosses, mascaras or eyeliner. Whatever the item is, I must finish using up 10 of these items before I can purchase some more. Sounds difficult I know! But its okay it sounds quite rewarding. At the moment I only have my eye on the NARS Sabrina lipbalm and Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Volupte which can wait until I go home during the summer. (Airport makeup is much cheaper as opposed to on the high street) :)
So it has been one week that I have not purchased makeup and I am starting to feel a sense of satisfaction. :)
The items below were purchased 2 weeks ago when I was on holiday in Manchester so it does not count because I have not embarked on project 10 pan then. :)
I gave in and bought the Grand duo in Moon River. :) How can you not love the name.
MAC Sable e/s. New and amazing.
MAC Mineralize skinfinish in Refined. It was the decision between this and Perfect topping. Perfect topping out i'm afraid. :(
There are also a couple more products that I bought from Lipstick queen and Bare Minerals which are amazing. More on that later.
I am also selling/swapping my makeup on MUA to reduce the size of my stash. The reason being that my makeup collection has reached to the point where I can mouth the word 'ridiculous' without sounding like an idiot. When it comes to the point that I have no more space to even store my new items is definitely saying something. So goodbye to some of my makeup and they might as well go to another owner who loves them more than I do. :)
On a brighter note, winter is over and spring is here summer is approaching. Do I sense the urge to switch to a healthier low carb diet and start getting in shape for the holiday? Ditto :)

Easter 2009
First it was Manchester and then Nottingham and then Geneva. The back to Notts and finally im back in Bristol from my one week holiday and back to studying for my exams next week. =(
I know Im not wearing contacts in these pictures and I'll tell you why. The morning when I was getting ready to go to the airport, I was trying to wear my contacts ; groggy eyed. Due to my clumsiness, the bottle of saline fell on top of my contacts case and my contacts landed on the dirty carpet. There was no way I was going to wear them anymore. So I had to live with glasses for the rest of the trip. Oh yea I'm also makeup-free in all these pictures so I know I look far from glamorous. =(
Everything was ridiculously expensive from the food to the shopping. So of course I couldn't leave Birmingham airport without getting something from the duty free. :) This time I picked up Yves Saint Laurent's faux cils mascara which comes in a duo pack. :) I also picked up the much raved about Maybelline mascara Lash Stilletto in which I will do a review about in awhile so keep a look out for that!
My dearest brother Danis with his favourite Tag watches.
My lovely parents who made all this possible. <3
Threesome.
Mum and dad again.(in Gruyere)
Jordan and I in Gruyere village.
Cheese factory.
In the chocolate shop.

Small treats
I went to see the doctor yesterday and nearby the clinic was a Superdrug. Guess what? I had to go inside of course and I didn't leave empty handed. I was practically jumpingwhen I found GOSH's #134 Darling lipstick. There were 2 left on the shelf so yes I had to grab the last 2. I consider that a big achievement seeing that I stepped into 4 Superdrugs just to be disappointed because this is a color that is ALWAYS sold out. So yes i am a happy camper. =) Just to show you how wonderful this lipstick is.
I can't say enough good things about this lipstick. Its so moisturising and the color is hands down the most gorgeous nude I have ever tried. This would probably look tons better on someone with a tan because unless I have super smoky eyes this can make me look washed out. Anyhow, this is definitely a keeper and I will definitely be picking u more of these if they come back in stock just because I have issues and am paranoid that they will be discontinued.
Lately im obsessively working the nude lip especially pink barbie doll lips. I have to be abit careful not to overdo it to avoid porn star lips. :p Today I went shopping and I had to go into M.A.C to check out their new Sugarsweet collection. In case you haven't notice I am MAC-holic lately which I consider to be a good thing. Mostly because I find that M.A.C is affordable, at least more affordable than Chantecaille, la mer, la prairie or by terry which I have been buying alot of the past few months.
M.A.C's St Germain pastel pink lipstick. So pretty, so barbie, so promising, i like.
Honestly I wasn't particularly impressed with this collection. The only item I am truly interested in is the lipstick in the shade St Germain, which isn't even a limited edition item in the first place. They are merely just repromoting it with this new collection. Apparently, it isn't a limited item in the Europe but it is elsewhere? So i'm not really sure but its a great pastel pink and I love it so I am going to order it on M.A.C mail order together with some other M.A.C pro products. =)
Of course I had to step into Superdrug again and today we have:
1) GOSH soft n shine lippie 2)Eyeko nail polishes ( cute packaging!)
Just take a look at them. So cute and dinky! I ended up getting Pastel polish (blue eye shell color) and pretty polish. Punk polish looks like a dupe for M.A.C's Something about pink polish but a much uglier version. M.A.C's is much prettier and the consistency is better. I now have on the Pastel Polish and I must say that I love it very much. Its not a flat pale blue but it has a holographic effect to it. So yay 1.99pounds well spent! =)
I just remembered a makeup brand that I have forgotten /neglected and today I thought about it again. I then looked them up on their official website and found some videos which I thought I would share with you all. This is the first time that I have seen smoky eyes that are so captivating. Excellent makeup I must say. Oh yea the brand is ILLAMASQUA by the way and available only at Selfridges London at the time being if I am not mistaken. You might be able to find it at a department store at Newcastle as well apparently.
